Anna Mae Grogan

Anna Mae Grogan, 57, of Christopher, passed way at 4:20 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2003 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Mrs. Grogan was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Royalton.  
She was born September 10, 1936 in Mulkeytown, the daughter of Ennis and Mary (Pinkham) Furlow.  She married Lester Grogan and he survives.
Mrs. Grogan was a former volunteer at the Christopher Elementary School, former Treasurer of the Eagles in Christopher, former Treasurer of the Iszaak Walton Club and former volunteer for the Red Cross.  She was a Girl and Boy Scout leader for many years.  She was also a former EMT and organized the Ambulance Service in Christopher.
Surviving are her children, Dwayne and wife Carmen Grogan of Christopher, Lora Ann Grogan of Christopher, Mary Lou and husband Benjamin Harrison of Mulkeytown; six grandchildren, Jonathan and wife Toni Grogan, Deann and husband Seth Knox, Lester Grogan, Daryel and husband Seth Phillips and Elizabeth Harrison and three great-grandchildren, Tailey, Tate Grogan and Garrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services were Wednesday, September 24  at 11 a.m. at Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher with Rev. Don Knox officiating.  Interment was in Mulkeytown Cemetery.
Friends called at the funeral home Tuesday evening after 6 pm.
